    Text Analyzer

    Hello,
I have been using the text analyzer (free version) and now it won't analyze my text anymore - it asks if I want the advanced version. How do I notify someone that the free text analyzer is no longer working?
    Thanks,
    Jim

    Re: Text Aanalyzer

It's possibly a consequence of the changes we have been making on the site - migrating to https -so I will let the webmaster know. Thanks for telling us and sorry for the inconvenience.

    Re: Text Aanalyzer

I hadn't realised you were referring to one of the forum's own features, Jim.

I apologise for my earlier comment if you read it before it was rightly deleted.

    Re: Text Analyzer

    Hi Jim,

Firstly, you should know that both versions of the Text Analyser are free. We only require registration with the site to access the extended tools and language databases within our members' area. Of course, now you are a member you can access the extended analyser by going to https://www.usingenglish.com/members/text-analysis/ ;)

The basic (public) tool is now fixed... I had been updating some code and had left a gremlin in there which I've now banished.

    Enjoy!
I'm not a teacher, so please consider any advice I give in that context.
