Please help me improve the following progress report on recent works. Thank you.
a) Further to the memos dated 15.06.2016 & 20.07.2016, we hope you could furnish us the progress of our application for changing the status of land allocation from temporary to permanent and could expedite your endeavor if possible to assess our eligibility for the above application for our subsequent arrangement.
b) In response to your e-mail dated 20.08.2016, we understand that the land allocation granted to us at Premium Street will expire on 17.09.2017 and we intend to continue the lease of the area for running a plant nursery. In this connection, we wish to apply for the extension of the captioned land allocation by 5 years, effective from 18.09.2017. Also, according to our staff's inspection on 08.09.2016, the plant nursery has been found having persistent water seepage off from its roof and severe blockage in its drainage system. As those facilities are under your maintenance during the Defect Liability Period until 31.12.2016, please step up efforts in rectifying those facilities up to our satisfaction.
c) Since there is no public toilet facing an open area located at Premium Road Playground (PRP) whereas there's actually one at Premium Street Playground (PSP), we are unable to identity the location mentioned in the complaint referral and carry on our investigation on the case. As such, we wish you could contact the complainant for clarifying whether he referred to PRP or PSP and to avoid delaying in proceeding the case, we propose to either close the case or re-assign to other relevant parties until the receipt of the clarification over the name of the playground.
d) As discussed, we wish to seek your approval of letting Mr. Powell return to our office at 10:00 a.m. on 25.09.2016 for the handover of his job duties to his post successor and the discussion of his final appraisal report. Please advise us your approval and Mr. Powell's availability of attending the proposed arrangement or if there is any alternative date and time which may better suit you all by 16.09.2016.
