Please help me improve the following report on improvement works. Thank you very much.
1) We refer to your recent reminder memo dated 26.08.2016 urging us and our maintenance agent to re-examine the appropriateness of the current water meters at our clubhouse. Indeed, tracing back your previous memos dated from 25.01.2016 to 14.07.2016 about the same issue, we have contacted our maintenance agent, requesting them to carry out urgent improvement work on the water meters so as to comply with your stated standard. However, whilst we are without required professional skills and experience in improving the water meters by ourselves, we are still awaiting the further action from our maintenance agent towards their water meter improvement work, which initially commence on 19.03.2016 indeed. Please be assured that we will continue closely liaison with our maintenance agent on the improvement work and we hope the work, together with a work completion report addressed to you, could be done by this end of this month.
2) The Glorious Garden (GG), with an occupied area of 5,000 square meters, is opened in 01.01.2008 and located at the lower part of the grand roundabout along Birch region. Due to some natural constraints, there has been without the provision of lighting facilities at the GG since its opening, which results in prompting great safety concern about from the members of public and the District Mayors and the suggestion of a feasibility study on lighting facilities installation there is raised accordingly.
Since 2012, we have been tirelessly liaising with the Power Supply Company (PSC), the Transport Department (TD) and the Engineering Department (ED) to carry out feasibility study on the lighting facilities provision at the GG, but we are then informed of the infeasibility of such work due to a concern from the TD about the work's likely affection on the structure of the nearby subways and that from the ED about some technical problems notably the absence of source of power supply to the lighting facilities and they instead propose to work out a technical report on interim measure on the lighting provision.
On 10.08.2016, all the parties involved have held a joint site meeting and finally reached an agreement on the impending implementation of lighting facilities installation work at the GG after sorting out all the above-mentioned problems facing the installation work and we have subsequently received a technical report involving excavation arrangement on the work from the ED on 15.08.2016, with an indication of the estimated work cost of $1.1m and a forecasted work duration of 8 months, effective from 01.10.2016 provided that all the installation subjects comply with the statutory and relevant requirements.
