    "I'd be grateful". It seems you are missing something like, "...if you informed me of it."

    Also, you should be aware that the tone of your sentence is arrogant. "...worth spending my free time..." can very easily be construed as you seeing their activities as beneath you; you are too good for them.

    Even if that is what you mean, it would be wise to be diplomatic.

    "I have limited time, but if any really important activities come up, I'll try to offer assistance".
