    Wink Changes & Amendments

    Dear Teacher,

    Is there any difference between Changes and Amendments.

    Thank you,

    Re: Changes & Amendments

    Hello Murli

    "Amendment" usually implies a slight modification, e.g.

    1. ammend => amend

    Whereas a "change" can be more dramatic:

    2. "Oh that this too, too sullied flesh would melt" => "What shall I have for breakfast?"

    An amendment is always a change; but a change isn't necessarily an amendment.

    All the best,
