description of windy weather that has always existed

    Hello everybody!

I would like to say that "Since I have been living here, it has (always) been very windy".

Is the sentence properly formulated or should I say as follows:

    • "Since my birth, it has (always) been very windy".
    • "Since I have lived here, it has (always) been very windy".

    What is your opinion?

    Thank you.

Re: description of windy weather that has always existed

Your first suggestion doesn't include the idea of "here" (wherever that might be). It suggests it has been windy everywhere since you were born! Also, "since I was born" and "Since I have been living here" aren't necessarily the same thing.

I've lived here all my life/for XXX years and it's always been windy.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
