    #1 and #4 are quoted from Michael Swan. Are #2 and #3, my own sentences, acceptable?

    Yes.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Is it acceptable to use 'Nice to see you' (instead of 'Nice to meet you') as a greeting when you meet somebody for the first time?

    It's not impossible, but it doesn't sound natural to me.
