    The school starting and finishing time.

    "Their school started at 8:30 AM and finished at 12:30 PM because their half yearly exams are going on these days. The school's starting time has been put backwards one hour (on normal days the school starts at 7:30 AM) and finishing time has been brought forward one hour and a half (normally the school finishes at 2 PM)."

    Please check.
