Are the sentences below correct? If "yes", which is more common?

1. Since when you have to bring back library books?

2. Since when you have to bring back books to the library?

Neither of them are correct.

You could say either of the following. Both are equally common.

When do you have to take back the library books?
When do you have to take the books back to the library?

Alternately, you could say this.

When do you have to return the library books?

Neither is correct. I think you're trying to ask when some library books are due. If so, ask When do you have to take the books back to the library?

Note that the subject and verb are inverted in questions. That's why I wrote do you have rather than you have.

Thank you. I understand. But does it mean that the following sentence is incorrect, too?

"Please bring back all library books by the end of the week."

If you're looking for the response "By the end of the week", the question could be "By when must I return the library books?"

So what's wrong with my sentences? "since when", "bring back" , or something else?

I see. So if I say:

1. By when do you have to bring back library books?

or

2. By when do you have to bring back books to the library?

Would it be correct?

It really depends who you're asking, and if you're referring to specific books that you've borrowed or if your asking in general.

Note my correction above.

My problem is I can’t see the difference between:

1. By when do you have to bring back the library books?

and

2. By when do you have to take back the library books?

The sentences generally mean the same for me. Am I right?

You bring something to your location. You take something from one location to another. Bring is appropriate if you are at or expect to be at the library; if not, you have to use take.

"Please bring back all library books by the end of the week."

It's correct, but I would take it to mean that the library wanted all books back, even ones that had a longer loan period.

- By when do I have to take the books back to the library? - I asked.

- Please bring back all the library books by the end of the week. - The librarian said.

Are the sentences above correct? I think I can see the difference now.
