    May I substitute for with pro? I always make spelling mistakes. EX: b pro p in problem.

    Hi, Ray,

    The English language has two stops /p/ and /b/; Arabic doesn't. It has only the phoneme /b/. Hence, when I represent the phoneme /p/, I write the letter b. EX: blease for please, beace for peace etc.

    Yes, that's a problem in a few languages. It's also a problem when a language has two Ps - one aspirated and one non-aspirated, in which the non-aspirated 'p' sounds like a 'b' - eg. Hindi.
    But there's no simple solution that I know of. You need to learn the 'p' sound and where it exists.
    These Arabic letters are difficult to differentiate for English speakers: خ ح ق ك
