    Training, course or training course

I went to attend 3 days short course organised by my employer.
On return, I am telling others where I had been to. So, was it a 3 days training, a course or shall I call it as 3 days training course ?

Re: Training, course or training course

You can call it three days' training, three days of training, a three-day training course, or a three-day course in X.

Re: Training, course or training course

It depends on what is being taught. If I go to classes to learn Spanish, for example, then I am attending a Spanish course. I am not attending Spanish training.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Re: Training, course or training course

"Training" teaches a practical skill like nursing, Windows network administration, tire-changing, advanced or beginning emergency medical care, etc. Such training may be provided in a course, but courses can also teach esoteric or general knowledge like a foreign language or algebra.
