The Email was on their cousin's behalf

    Hi,
Is there any differences between these 2 sentences:

    A. The Email was on their cousin's behalf

    B. The Email was on behalf of their cousin

    Thanks

Re: The Email was on their cousin's behalf

They are not correct. You need to add a verb:

The email was sent on behalf of their cousin.

As a simple rule, I usually advise using:

    • on behalf of...

except when the person is one word, especially a possessive.

    • on (my/your/his/her/our) behalf

    Thanks.
There's no difference in meaning, but I prefer B.
