In my lounge there is a brown sofa.

    Hi there!

Is it possible to say: 'In my lounge there is a sofa in brown...' instead of 'In my lounge there is a brown sofa...'?

    Cheers,
    Tito

Re: Where should the color go?

It's not the natural thing to say.

Re: Where should the color go?

It's not a natural context in which to use that construction.

Customer: I'd like to buy a sofa.
Salesperson: OK. Do you know what style you want?
Customer: I like the look of this one. Have you got it in red?
Salesperson: Sorry, that one comes only in brown or black.
Customer: That's a shame. I really wanted either red or purple.
Salesperson: Sorry. We don't have any in red or purple!
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

It's not impossible, but virtually no one would do it.
