    Errors using past tense

what kind of error do you classify this as?
when a S fails to use any other aspects that go with the past tense but only uses past simple (even when its not correct)
E.g Last week I went to the market to buy fruits. I bought apples and oranges. I wanted to bought banana but didn't found.

The past simple is correct. The mistake is that the learner has used the wrong form in the negative, the second form (past simple) rather than the bare infinitive required after auxiliary DO.
