    lobster/s

I know you're fond of lobster and crab, so I tried the Harbor Inn on Ocean Road.

    Hi,
Aren't lobster and crab countable nouns? Should "lobster and crab" in the above be changed into "lobsters and crabs?" Thanks

    Re: lobster/s

    The meat is generally uncountable.

    Re: lobster/s

If someone said "I know you like lobsters and crabs", I would assume they meant that the person liked the animal (when it's alive). If they said "I know you like lobster and crab", they would mean that the person likes the meat produced by the dead animal.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

They can be, but we would generally use the uncountable form in your sentence. However, we could say the following:

I'm really fond of lobster so I ordered two.
