Exclamation Use of too, also, as well, so do/does

    Hi,

I wonder if all of the sentences below are correct? Are there other ways to express them?

    1. I like soccer and Jack likes it too.
    2. I like soccer and Jack likes it as well.
    3. I like soccer and also Jack like it.
    4. I like soccer and Jack also like it.
    5. I like soccer and so does Jack.
    6. I like soccer and Jack likes it like me.
    7. I like soccer and Jack likes it like I do.
    8. I like soccer and Jack likes it as I do.

You made a mistake in 3 and 4. Can you spot it?

The other sentences are all possible.

    hi,

    3. I like soccer and also Jack like it.
Shall I use "I like soccer and Jack like it also"?

    4. I like soccer and Jack also like it.

would you please let me know where to use "also"? I think "I like soccer and also Jack like it" is correct. What is the mistake here?

You made the same mistake in all those sentences that you didn't make in 1, 2, 6, 7 and 8.

So, you mean that 3, 4, and 5 are incorrect? Would you please let me know their correct versions?

Jack is singular. How do you conjugate to like in the third-person singular present simple?
