Question Difference between metaphor, metonymy and irony

    Hi,

Would you please answer my question?

Is this sentence an example of irony?
"Einstein entered the room", if by Einstein we want to refer to someone stupid.
Moreover, how can the above sentence be changed to become a metaphor and a metonymy?
Generally speaking, what is the difference between an irony, a metaphor and metonymy?
