What would you please name the written record anyone receives when they rebel against anyone in authority?

    Re: written record

In my country, non-violent opposition to anyone in authority is normal, legal, and not subject to being recorded anywhere. We don't have an expression for such a record.

A file documenting suspicious behavior might be called a dossier.
    I am not a teacher.

Yeah, unless anyone whispers "terrorist". Then your rights evaporate like mist in bright sunshine, and you disappear.

Oh, and your "dossier" will be classified.

I think for any law enforcement agency, "Record" is the generic term, which might be prefaced by "Police", "Criminal", or possibly others.

In a private company, it's possible that you might receive a "written warning" if you behaved in a manner which was taken to insult/offend someone in authority (in the company). For example, if you sent an email saying "My boss is an idiot!", you might receive a verbal or written warning.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
