    After the dinner

I am wondering if my sentence sounds natural? Do I need a comma after "bedrooms"?

After the dinner, the couple would withdraw to their bedrooms and would not see each other until the morning.

    Re: After the diner

Delete the article before 'dinner'. I might well use a comma after 'bedrooms'.

    Re: After the dinner

Note that I was feeling charitable this morning and have corrected the typo in your title. You had written "diner" instead of "dinner". You're welcome.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
