I am wondering if I have used correctly "can barely wait" in my sentences. Do they sound natural? Would you please correct my mistakes?

1. I can barely wait to move to another flat.
2. They can barely wait to see the new blockbuster.
3. I could barely wait for my friends to return from their travel.

They'd sound more natural with 'hardly' instead of 'barely'.
