[Grammar] I thought it was going to be easy to decide

Hello.

Are tge following sentences grammatically correct?

"I thought it was going to be easy to decide. The work of the Ministry of Education is better for me in every aspect and I was waiting for it for many years, but now that it finally came I find that taking a decision is very hard for me. Something inside me is telling me to not accept it ... Maybe it's affection to all the people all know at school."

Maybe it's affection to all the people all know at school. I don't understand this sentence at all.

Dear emsr2d2: First of all, thanks for your answer.

The work of the Ministry of Education is better that my current job for me in every respect.

Maybe it's affection to all the people all know at school. In that sentence I want to say that the person is telling that the really like and care about his current colleagues and if he takes the new job he will miss them.

Maybe is the great friendship that binds me to my current colleagues.

It wasn't at all clear that the speaker currently works at a school. I thought that sentence was referring to the people he went to school with.

Something inside me is telling me not to accept it. Maybe it's because I like my current colleagues so much!
