How can I say when I am almost closing a deal but somebody's else behavior makes me fail?

You made me lose the... "deal?"
or, "piece of business"?

I've searched the web for a similar sentence but only found "you made me lose the game"

Thanks,
£

[STRIKE]How[/STRIKE] What can I say when I am [STRIKE]almost closing[/STRIKE] about to close a deal but somebody's else behavior makes me fail?

You made me lose the (no ellipsis required here) "deal"or (no comma required here) "piece of business"?

I've searched the web for a similar sentence but only found "You made me lose the game".

Thanks,
[STRIKE]£[/STRIKE]I have no idea why you used a £ sign there.

It's fine to say "lose the deal".

Note my corrections above.

Thank you for your kind answer, and for the other corrections too.

So I can say "You made me lose the deal". Being a very simple sentence, since I found no recurrence on the web I suspected it to be not in use.

Best regards,
£ (I use it as my signature)

You won't find every sentence in existence on the web.

Please don't use "£" as your signature. There is no need for a signature anyway - we can see your username on every post. Also, it will cause frequent confusion because people will assume it is a typo, an accidental keystroke, or the beginning of a sentence you haven't finished and you will find it commented on or corrected multiple times, wasting time and space.
