You can't see kangaroos here. You have to go to Australia, in ...

"You can't see kangaroos here. You have to go to Australia, in which case you would have to carry your visa to be able to see them in their natural habitats."

Is the usage of "would have to" above right ?

    Thank you.

Possibly. What's the rest of the sentence?
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

I guess you edited your post to make the sentence complete. You've used "would have to" correctly.

It's not obvious how to make the best use of the forum. For future reference, please post a new message rather than correcting one that has received a reply. It's hard to make sense of threads where a post has been edited after it's been replied to.

I'm sorry. My bad. Will keep it in mind for my future posts. Thank you.

Can "will have to" be used instead of "would have to in this case? Which would be more suitable? Was "would have to" used to convey it's an imaginary situation? Please explain a little bit.

'Will have to' is possible, but 'would have to' is more likely. It makes the going to Australia more hypothetical.

But in "He would be selected into the college if he clears the exam", "would" shouldn't be used to make it more hypothetical, right? Can we use?

    Thank you.

I deleted your PS, which you were asked to put into your signature line, and which I asked you to refrain from writing in every post.

You need a visa to enter Australia, but once there you wouldn't need to carry it with you to see kangaroos.

    These are correct:

'He would be admitted to college if he passed the exam.'
'He will be admitted to college if he passes the exam.'

From my understanding of your instruction, "You don't need to write in every post", I didn't write it even while posting this thread. But felt there could be some error in the previous post and hence wrote it as another kind request. Anyway I now put it in the signature box as per your instruction. Thank you.
P.S. Please correct any errors above.
