Rock solid inside seal. Puncture it first, then peel it off. tail end of the spoon

A: I can't peel off the inside seal.

B: Try using something to puncture it first, and then peel it off. Here, use the handle of this spoon.

A: I can't do it. The seal is rock solid.

B: Well, just try harder. I don't have anything sharp here.Do you call it inside seal?

Do you call the part of the spoon that you hold the handle? Would it be better if you say "Use the tail end of the spoon?"

Is that how you say it? Puncture it first, and then peel it off

Can you describe the seal as rock solid?

The inner seal is firmly fixed.

Pierce it first with something sharp, like a thumbnail, then peel it off.

The handle of a spoon may or may not be sharp enough to pierce it.

If it were rock solid you wouldn't be able to pierce it without the use of a power tool.
