    Command over

    Hi there!

    Is the following sentence right taking into consideration that the person A is checking person B's skills?


    I need to know your command over (skill/subject etc.)...

    "Command" as a reference to skill/ability is mostly used with languages.
    For example,

    I need to know how good your command of English is.
