[Grammar] 'Contact me whenever you want to' vs '... you want'

Hello Teachers,

'Contact me whenever you want to'

In this sentence, I thought that 'to' at the end could not be omitted.

But I wonder now
'Contact me whenever you want' is correct too?

Please let me know the actual usage in practice.

Note my corrections above.

In BrE, "Contact me whenever you want" is perfectly acceptable.
