    observe decorums

Please help me make the following sentences sound natural. Thanks!

    1. My parents teach me the manners of getting along with people and dealing with things.
    2. My parents have taught me observing decorums and etiquettes.
    3. Thanks for your reminder that teachers should always educate students to talk politely to adults and good study attitude.

I think the above sentences should be written in the past passive.

    Re: observe decorums

"Decorum" is not countable. You either exhibit decorum or you do not.

    Re: observe decorums

By googling, I found the source of #1 and #2 at https://tw.answers.yahoo.com/questio...3000014KK07613
I would translate it as 'My parents teach me how to handle people and things politely'.
    I am not a teacher.
