    "I would like to be XXX" does not introduce a comparative so using "than XXX" doesn't make sense after it.

    I would like to be rich.
    I would not like to be poor.
    I would rather be rich than poor.
    I would prefer to be rich than poor.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
