    Hello.

Are the following sentences grammatically correct?

"Kevin woke up because the hallway lights turned on. He tried to sleep, but he listened a loud noise from the bathroom. A deep voice speaked to Kevin."

    Thanks.

... but he heard a loud noise...
    ... voice spoke to ...
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    I'd say 'went on'.

Re: Kevin woke up because the hallway lights turned on

If you want to use "turned on", you'd have to say something like "... because someone turned the hallway lights on".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
