A comparison of the quality of life

    Hi,
    Is the following title correct?

"A comparison of the quality of life in patients with differentiated thyroid cancer and healthy population."

I am concerned about determiners. where do "The" and "A" are required?
Please correct my mistakes if you encounter any.

They are both required at the start. In my opinion, you need "the" before "healthy population" too.
I have changed your thread title. "Determiners" is too generic. Titles should include some or all of the words or phrases in your post. It makes it much easier for everyone to find your post again if necessary.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Leave out 'the' before 'patients'.

... yes, we leave it out because we are only studying *some* patients, not all of *the* patients.
