What's the difference between "revise" and "modify"?

The vocabulary "revise" and "modify" in Chinese are the same meaning.
What's the difference between both of them?
*For example: The report should be revise or modify?**

Note my changes above. In your context, there is no discernible difference between them.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Hi, emsr2d2

    thanks for your quick reply.
I still want to know when should I use the words "revise" or "modify" in which situation.
Could you provid me some example to figure out the difference between them?

Click here and then enter 'modify' in the search box. (Bookmark the web page for future reference.)

You will see that you can revise for an exam but not modify for it.
