the time of my contract finished.

Interview between a boss and an English teacher

    A:
"Why did you choose this line of work?"
B: "I have done this for (number) of years. I like my work. The only reason I left my last workplace (my last teaching job) was because the time of my contract finished."
    Hi,
Is the blue part natural to you? If not, then how should I say the blue part?

Re: the time of my contract finished.

I left my last job because my contract finished.
I left my last job because my contract came to an end.
I left my last job at the end of my contract.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
