Hello all ,

I would like to know the main differences between "relating to and related to" and if I can use them interchangeably in the following sentence:

This payment is related to the main invoice
This payment is relating to the main invoice

I want to say that the payment is to pay the main invoice.

Many thanks in advance,

Hello all ,

I would like to know the main differences between "relating to" and "related to" and if I can use them interchangeably in the following sentences:

This payment is related to the main invoice.
This payment is relating to the main invoice.

I want to say that the payment is to pay the main invoice.

Only the first sentence is correct. Note my corrections above. Remember to put each quoted text between two quotation marks.
