    I am sorry to disagree.

    Hello, teachers.

    I have a question.

    A: Why don't we watch a movie?
B: I am sorry to disagree. I am too tired.

Can I use "I am sorry to disagree." in this context?

    Thank you in advance!

Re: I am sorry to disagree.

It doesn't work because B is responding to a question, not a statement, and A didn't make an assertion B might disagree with.

B could disagree if A said "The Summer of '42 is the greatest movie ever made. Let's go see it!"
    I am not a teacher.

Re: I am sorry to disagree.

If A had simply said "[I think] we should watch a film [this evening]", B could disagree.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Re: I am sorry to disagree.

It is a suggestion by A to watch a movie.
B could reply: Sorry, I am too tired.
    I am not a teacher.

Their disagreement would be about the quality of the movie, so something like Besides, I am too tired would connect.
