    What kind of company (means the friends) does he have?

    We are tend to be in the company of the people who are like us. Like a thief will always like the company of another thief.

    Good, that's better. Now remove the definite article before "people".

    I would change the period to a comma. Otherwise, the second sentence is incomplete.
