    Word "saddle"

I have tried to use the word "saddle" in my sentences. I am not sure if they sound natural. Would you please help me and correct my mistakes?

    1. The writer's career was saddled with numerous scandals.
    2. The building of the new bridge is already saddled with technical and financial problems.
    3. Saddled with injuries, Peter was forced to retire from his professional tennis career.

Yes, they sound natural. You used the word exactly right.
I'm not a teacher. I speak American English. I've tutored writing at the University of Southern Maine and have done a good deal of copy editing and writing, occasionally for publication.
