    What could be more so


    Does the sentence below sound natural?

    The general manager was drunk and cried in an arrogant way: "I am a general manager and what could be more so!"

    Not a Teacher. A guy that is fond of old horror and weird literature.

    It's not natural without a previous sentence saying what he is or isn't more so than.

    Ex-employee: "You're a rich, fat control freak."
    Manager: "I am a general manager and what could be more so!"

    That is, "What could be more rich, fat and control freaky than a general manager?!"
