    "about how " VS "how "

    1) I don't know about how you will perform in the party. 2) I don't know how you will perform in the party. What's the difference between these sentences?

    Those are my own sentences. But I have seen many time those sorts of sentence. I am confused with whether I should use preposition or not. please help me out with explanation sir.

    That was my mistake to write 3 instead of 2. I corrected that.

    See above. I'm not really sure what your sentence means. Are you talking to a performer (ie a singer or dancer)?

    We use "to know about" when we are talking about factual knowledge.

    I don't know anything about football.
    What do you know about Brexit?
