    Question Whether or not versus whether

    Hi


    In embedded yes/no questions we say for example: I don't know if/whether he enjoyed the party. But, I wonder if it is also possible to say it as "I don't know if/whether he enjoyed the party or not." Would you please let me know the difference between whether and whether or not?
