crushed / stepped on / killed cockroach with my foot

Child: What did you just do?

    Parent:
    1. I crushed the cockroach with my foot.
    2. I stepped on the cockroach to kill it.
    3. I killed the cockroach by stepping on it.

Which would native speakers more likely to use?
    Not a teacher.

Re: crushed / stepped on / killed cockroach with my foot

All three seem correct and natural to me, but I would be less likely to use number 1 than the other two.

Since this is your second cockroach post, allow me to add this just for fun. If you have much success in killing cockroaches by stepping on them, you must have amazing speed and reflexes. They are very furtive and very fast.
