It's not showing the shark anymore. The segment about it is over. Rewind the film

    While watching National Geographic...

    Child: Where is the shark?

Parent: Well, the film's talking about the dolphins now, so it's not showing the shark anymore.

Child: It's not going to talk about the shark anymore?

Parent: Yes, the segment about the shark is over. It's all about the dolphins now.

    Child: I want the shark.

Parent: Well, do you want me to rewind the film back to the shark?

Do any of the sentences above stand out as unnatural?

Wouldn't it be better for the parent to say "Right" than "Yes"? Is "Yes" fine there?

The word 'segment' sounds unnatural, as I assume you're talking to your three-year old.

    Say 'bit' or 'part'.

"Yes" is OK. It can be taken to mean "Yes, you're right".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

I think right would be better, especially when talking to a young child. There's no doubt you are agreeing with the child's negatively-phrased question.
