Exclamation Many communities are facing budget problems.

    Hello,

Are these two sentences both correct and grammatical, and do they have the same meaning?

Many communities are facing budget problems.

Budget problems are now facing many communities.

Yes (though the second needs an initial capital) and yes.

    Now they are and do.

The original second sentence was correct as it was, Charlie.

[TRANSITIVE] if you face a problem, or if it faces you, it is likely or certain to happen and you have to deal with itHow to combine a career and children is a dilemma facing many women.
