I had a wrong image of you in my mind.

I had a wrong image of 'you' or 'yours' 'on my mind' or 'in my mind'.

    Please check.

Can you elaborate on the idea you're trying to express?

I had the wrong idea about you sounds like a natural way of saying this to me.

You haven't met a person who you have been having a word with for a long time over the phone. You have an image of the person on your mind but when you meet that person you find out that person is opposite to what you have expected (physically and by nature as well).

Re: I had a wrong image of you in my mind.

When you finally meet, you could say something like "You look completely different from how I imagined!"
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

No, it is not correct. The word I can think of is "impression" but it is not exactly the same.
    I am not a teacher.

I had a wrong impression of you. Yes I know it is not same as "image".

"You look completely different from how I imagined about you" is it also correct?

No. We don't "imagine about someone/something". If that had been a correct suggestion, I would have used it in post #5.
