    That's a nice restaurant one can go to after the cinema.

    Yes, but informally we commonly say 'you' instead of 'one'.

    I expect AE speakers would say 'movie' instead of 'cinema'.

    Not exactly. The movie is the entertainment we expect to see at the theater. We say movie theater if there's a risk of ambiguity.
