    email about an unfair landlord

    HiI had a friend and a ESOL Teacher review an EMail for me but it is driving me crazy that I think something was wrong before I had posted. Please check this for me.I wanted to write about the unfair landlord when I had moved a few years ago.I moved to .... in winter of 2014.I lived there for 2 years and 3 months...I feel like it should have been I had moved into .... in winter 2014.Which is write ?Thanks.💜

    Hi Marzieh_Cāfe, and welcome to the forum.
    Please note my corrections above. The choice between "to" and "into" would depend on what it is you're referring to; is it a city, the name of a building or something else?

    As for the choice of tense (past simple or past perfect), that would depend on the rest of your text.
