    Is it "If it wasn't for the music" or "If it weren't for"?

    The pedants among us would use "If it weren't for ..." but you will hear the "wasn't" version much more frequently these days.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Clear back at least as far as the early '80's, Albert King told us that if it wasn't for bad luck, he wouldn't have any at all.
