    in the end

    Hi

Could you please tell if "in the end" is correct when we want to finish a letter?
For example: In the end, I'd like to thank you all ...
Actually I'm looking for the difference between "in the end" and "at the end".
    Thanks.

    Re: in the end

No. "In the end" means "eventually". Use "Finally, I'd like to thank you" or perhaps "To end/finish, I'd like to thank you".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

So isn't it possible to use neither?

Native speakers would use what ems suggested.

    I wouldn't use either.
