Question After process completion, the financial administrator changes the status to Processed

    Hi,

Below is excerpted from an Oracle document.

After the time sheet has been approved and status is changed to Acceptable, a financial
administrator reviews the time sheet. If the financial administrator approves the time sheet, it is
then processed for back-office reporting. After process completion, the financial administrator
changes the status to Processed. Alternatively, the financial administrator can reject the time sheet,
which is then returned to the consultant for modification.
Can I say "After process completed" in this situation?

    Thanks.

No. You could say After the process is completed.
    I am not a teacher.

What about "After processing completed"? Is it correct?

But I don't understand why I can't use "After processing". The "processing" is a gerund, and "after" can be followed by a gerund. So, what's wrong with it? I just don't understand.

If added "the" in the front of the noun/gerund, it just becomes a "noun". I know "After [noun]" is correct.

    Please help to explain, thanks.

Re: After process completion, the financial administrator changes the status to Proce

You are referring to something specific - the processing done by a particular officer. So you need a definite article.
The clause is not complete without the verb "is".
I am not a teacher or a native speaker.
