    Using "aberration" in a sentence

    Does this sentence make sense?

It was an aberration how Fred was missing from school today considering that he has a history of perfect attendance.

Re: Using "aberration" in a sentence

I would change 'how' to 'that'.
The aberration was the fact that he was missing, not the manner in which he was missing.
