    Smile Ascension Transcends

Hello. I don't quite understand what the title of the article, Ascension Transcends, means here.
Would you please tell me what it means? And one more! What does "MuseTech" mean?
    Thank you.

from Shingaling by R. J. Palacio.....................(It's an news article)

Ascension Transcends By Melissa Crotts, NYT MuseTech, February 1978

Ascension, in its world premiere at the Nelly Regina Theater, is the stunning debut by choreographer Petra Echevarri,
recent graduate of Juilliard and winner of the Princess Grace Award. A mesmerizing reinterpretation of the dance fads of the '60s-
as seen through the Kodachromic lens of the author's childhood in NYC' Barrio-this piece is a riveting and joyful homage
to the scratchy, catchy, and soon-to-be-lost tracks of the decade. ...

    Re: Ascension Transcends

Acension is the name of the piece, and the critic is suggesting that it has transcendental qualities. It is more than just uplifting- it is spiritual.

Note the correct spelling of Juilliard.
    I am not a teacher.

    Re: Ascension Transcends

I can't fathom that one. I've tried Googling and found the "musetech" hashtag on Twitter but it doesn't seem to refer to anything relevant. There is a website of the same name but it's to do with food production. On Soundcloud, the multiple episodes by MuseTech are all to do with social media, not music.

Maybe the fact that it says "NYT MuseTech, February 1978" is relevant. Perhaps in 1978, the New York Times (I assume that's what "NYT" stands for), had a journalist who was referred to as a "music and technology writer" or something similar, which might have been abbreviated to "MuseTech" but I'm just guessing.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
